We hunt the gray ghost in the mountains around Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico. This will be our third year down there, we have exclusively leased some very good Mexico hunting properties. We have seen two bucks in the 130 class range, 3 in the 110 class, and several over a hundred inches. Those bucks were seen at the end of February so they are still roaming the hills. One of the ranches we have leased is 25,500 acres, another one is 20,000 acres -we have exclusive rights to all hunting on these ranches. The rain has been plentiful and the feed is abundant, the deer should be very healthy this year. The trail cameras will be up by mid October, so keep checking back for pictures of some real bruiser Coues bucks!!

The ranch house we stay in is a three bedroom with two beds in each room. Each room has its own wood burning fireplace to keep you cozy through the night, much better than camping in a tent. Every night we have a fire going in the back yard to relax and share your favorite hunting stories.
